How can I learn how to use the app?

We've tried to make the app as easy to use as possible, and we will be adding video tutorials in the near future. For now you can check the "Tips & Tricks" section in the "Today" tab to get some tips, or you can contact us via email or via chat in the app to tell us what you'd like to learn.

How can I contact Guitar Time for support with the app?

You can contact us via email right here, or you can chat with us directly by tapping "Chat with us" in the "Settings" tab in the app. We're always happy to hear from our users so don't hesitate to contact us!

I've contacted you via chat but haven't been answered, what's going on?

We love chatting with our users and helping you out, but with this feature you are chatting with the actual developers of the app, and we are not always online and available to talk. If you we are online we will answer you immediately, but in some cases it can take up to 24 hours, so please be patient.


I didn't mean to subscribe to the app, how do I get a refund?

Guitar Time uses Apple and iOS's built in subscription system, so your payment and refunds are procesed by Apple. You can easily request a refund from Apple right here.

I tried to start a free trial but was charged for the app immediately.

We use Apple and iOS's built in subscription system, and this allows a user to only try a free trial once. If we are able to identify that a user performed a free trial in the past, we will not offer it again, but in some cases this information is not available to us (For example, if the user switched to a different device or reset their device). In this case, you will be charged immediately after starting a free trial, and you can easily request a refund from Apple if this was not your intention (see the question about requesting a refund).

Can I use the same subscription on multiple devices (i.e. iPhone and iPad)?

Yes, if you purchase a subscription you can use that subscription on multiple devices, as long as you use the same Apple ID on all devices. Please note that your history, exercises and content are not synced between devices, but you will be able to use the Pro subscription on all devices. To activate the subscription on the other device, just tap "Restore purchases" from the settings menu on that device.

Is it possible to purchase the app once instead of a subscription?

We currently don't offer a one time purchase option for the app, but will definitely consider adding it in the future. If this is something you're interested in please contact us and let us know.

How do I cancel my free trial or subscription?

Guitar Time uses Apple and iOS's built in subscription system, so you can cancel your free trial or existing subscription there. You can tap "Manage Pro Subscription" in the settings menu for quick access, or search for "Subscriptions" in the settings app on your device, or access them right here.

I've subscribed to the app but I'm still getting asked to subscribe to use pro features.

In some rare cases your purchase will not be registered with the app. Just tap "Restore purchases" in the settings menu and your purchase will be restored. If you get a message that there is no purchase to restore, make sure you are logged into the Apple ID that purchased the subscription on your device.

Exercise Library

There's an exercise I'm looking for that isn't a part of the exercise library, how can I add it?

The exercises in the library are hand curated by us, and we're always trying to add more new and interesting exercises for your to try. If you have an idea for an exercise you think we should add, please don't hestitate to contact us and tell us about it. We can't promise we will add it but we will definitely consider it. In the future we may also add a feature where you can design your own exercises for yourself and to share with the community.
